About Matthew Wolfson
Matthew Wolfson is a lawyer with a firm commitment to the adversarial system and the rights of accused persons. Since joining David Anber’s Law Office in 2016, Matthew has successfully litigated cases in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
Since joining the firm, Matthew Wolfson has conducted numerous trials and contested matters with astounding results. Matthew’s main practice areas are sexual assault, violent crimes, charges related to intimate partner violence (a.k.a. “domestics”), and impaired driving.
Many of Matthew’s cases are published. He has completed trials and other matters in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (including jury trials), and courts outside of Ontario. Matthew also has experience conducting appeals.
During law school, Matthew attended the University of Windsor. He also obtained an American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy at the same time. In that time, he obtained awards for mock appellate advocacy and published a paper on the exclusion of criminal evidence in Windsor Law’s online journal.
Matthew joined David Anber’s Law Office in 2016. He works with a firm belief in the merits of the adversarial system. He is committed to a rigorous defence. Matthew has served numerous happy clients and he is honoured to help them.
